The first "recorded" history was recorded in our memories and thus the ORAL TRADITION began to keep memories alive. Next?

Actual "writing" began about 5000 years ago in Egypt and was called CUNEIFORM. Marks were made on clay and baked. There were also cave dwelling pictures predating CUNEIFORM. Really good detailed recordkeeping isn't really that old compared to length of time when homo saps showed up.

Does your family have an ORAL TRADITION it passes down from generation to generation?
