Doesn't look too hot for Bernie. When he lost to Hillary he blamed the Dem party for supporting her. If he fails again whom will he blame?

Will the pro Bernie's vote for the sb prez and not for whomever it is who will beat Bernie? Are they diehard fans who would rather keep the current guy there than vote for the person who beats Bernie for the Dem nomination? Isn't that cutting your nose to spite your face? WHO DOES THAT?

He can still blame DNC. They have changed rules specifically to make it harder for populist candidates.

Cutting out over half of the caucuses. And not completely removing super delegates.

Most Bernie voters choked it u and voted for Hillary but enough did defect to Trump in the close states that it could be argued they won the election for President Trump. This post was edited by my2cents at May 13, 2019 10:59 AM MDT

They are both OLD WHITE MEN m2c. I don't want either one of them to be the Dem Candidate!  On TV some poll was quoted ( I know you can find any poll to show anything you want) as showing Biden 31 points AHEAD of Bernie! Why I don't know but what do you do with THAT? I don't see how what the Dem party does did or will do has anything to do with how Biden is polling. Maybe you can explain that to me. I'm shocked that with his baggage and his age he is polling that well. I have nothing specific against him any more than I do almost any other pol. This time we HAVE TO GET IT RIGHT! I like that. I'm gonna ask! Thank you for your reply! :)

Polls at this point mean nothing. Most are just name recognition. Sadly most people who are going to vote do not know but maybe 3-5 of the candidates right now.

  • I don't see anybody on either side of the vast chasm between Sanders and Trump crossing over to vote for the other guy. They might stay home on election day, but there's just no way that any argument can be made for some substantial  pick up of the malcontents on either side. I still think that conditions are right for either a split in either of the major parties, producing a third party or independent effort on someone's part. Could be wrong, but these schisms have happened before and it's a long, long way to Nov '20.

I can't argue that.  Not even a liddle bit. All I know is THIS TIME the DEMS have got to get it right! We chose the  worst possible candidate and even I who always vote was thinking I wouldn't vote. My heart was not in it. I thought I'd "waste my vote" on a third party candidate though I was toying with the idea of voting for the Green Party Candidate.  But I rolled over and voted for Hillary and a lot good it did me! If push comes to shove and my only choice is Joe or Bernie of course I'll vote. I always do. But I sure as he** would love to LOVE the person I vote for politically speaking. Thank you for your thoughtful analysis and Happy Monday to thee SC! :)
