No don't believe in consciously "venting". Because I think then we get into the habit and we become addicted to doing that and become unable to break the habit of hostile and hurtful activity and thoughts. To say nothing of the negative effects doing so can have on our health. I guess what I try to do is take it easier all around and don't drive myself to distraction. And only allow myself to take annoying activities - like AnswerMug - in smaller doses. Live more in a low-key manner, under the radar as much as possible.
Venting means getting something that's bothering you off your chest. It doesn't mean that you have to do it in a volatile way or by hurting others. Keeping things that bother you bottled up inside is more harmful healthwise than venting.
