How can blue collar folks blindly and lovingly adore/support a self-proclaimed EXTREMELY STABLE GENIUS BILLIONAIRE?

What part of his life is relatable to them? Worrying about paying his bills? Worrying about whether he can afford to send his kids to college? Worrying about being able to afford a home? Worrying about his job without which his family will starve to death? Worrying about losing his medical insurance? Worrying about being homeless?

Where is the relatable part(s)?

    The down to earthness. I have heard many say he talks like me. 

    The common sense:
    tariff met with a tariff...without fear.
    Not dismissing jobs leaving the country. NAFTA..(people get mad when their job leaves and the gov tells them to go to school...school does not pay the mortgage)
    Lower Taxes/Lower regulations these are good for jobs.
    Securing the borderMerry Saying Christmas (yes employees were required to say Happy Holidays) 
    Etc
