This is my only internet social activity. How many are there? There's FB but aren't there a bazillion others too? Do you belong to many?

How many? Why? Are they  different from one another? Are the folks who belong very different from each other and one another? Does each have its strength and its weaknesses? I gather that having a lot of followers indicates popularity and I expect folks with bazillions of followers have/take bragging rights, right?

Then there are the  bloggers and what is a pod cast? What does the POD mean?

Used to be we wrote letters and it took forever for the Pony Express to get the mail through. There was the telegraph of course but that wasn't bigly popular. Then the phone came along and that was a real timesaver. Then the internet and email which is a joyful thing to me. But what else is out there that facilitates communication among homo saps who are so inclined? Do you belong to just this one, some, many or ALL of them because you don't want to miss out on anything? How do you have time for all of it?

    I have accounts on two other sites one of which is on life support and the other changed management some time ago and a lot of the old members are no longer active.  It has become relatively boring there.

    I have a Facebook account but do not really use it. But family does. And FB will send me reminders about birthdays which is nice. I do use it for business use. I post an Item of the week for 1/2 off each week. 

    I have a couple of other accounts on Q&As but this is the only one I am active on.  I am not sure I could even log in to the others anymore. LOL

    A PodCast is basically audio recording of someone. Usually a talk show.  That you can go on the internet to listen to or download to listen to later.  This post was edited by my2cents at June 7, 2019 8:15 AM MDT

    You know what's really weird m2c? From time to time I'm notified by ANSWERBAG via email of replies to my questions! How many years ago was that? But when I try to log in I can't so I stopped trying. Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday to thee! :)

    I get those too. I have not tried to log in. I have found some of my old post....but I am not sure they are correct.  I do not remember them.
