Any guys ever say the word "EXQUISITE"? In what context? I heard a TV Guy say a male tennis player's style was "EXQUISITE"! Sound ODD? .

I think a sunset can be exquisite or a rainbow or a great beauty (Elizabeth Taylor) can be exquisite or a beautiful ballgown or a necklace or  flowers. But a style of play an athlete employs is exquisite?

    Why does that sound odd.  

    Movements that are timed and graceful and once-in-a-lifetime are totally exquisite.

    I have heard sportscasters use that and other words just as lofty.

    It describes perfection.  I don't know what you think exquisite means.

    I have heard golf strokes described as being exquisite.  In fact, I've heard that word used more in a sporting context than in any other context.

    While technically the word was used correctly (as in 'elegant', 'well executed'), it can seem inapposite to some.

    I think it is an insult to girls in general to call a word GIRLY.  Like that is an insult to men.

    This is 2019.  We no longer insult men by accusing them of acting like a woman.  That is a Trump tactic.  Shame.
