What title do you aspire to have so that you too can legally treat certain folks with cruelty "for their own good"? For your own good of course but it's always good to have the law back you up. Kids are legal victims/hostages till they get old enough to escape incarceration.
A country has no where to escape to ever. So it's stuck with whatever its "leaders" choose to do with it. SIGH. You outgrow being a child. It's harder to outgrow being a citizen. Right?
