You know when SVU first aired I never watched it. Now I am HOOKED and I'm watching all the reruns. Of course I know Mariska Hargitay is the daughter of Jayne Mansfield and Mickey Hargitay . I very much like her a lot. More than I liked her mom. Did you know Jayne allegedly was a genius? I don't know what her IQ was but I expect Mariska is pretty dam* smart too. I liked NCIS early on but after awhile not so much. When Ziva left I kinda left too. Then Michael Weatherly left and got his own show...BULL(watched it once...never again) and we find out he was sexually abusive allegedly on NCIS. Recently we also find out that Polly Perrette is terrified of Mark Harmon and won't go back to the show. I wonder if that's what drove away the original female cop lead Sascha something and also the actress who played Ziva? I've only watched a couple of the NCIS-LA shows. Thank you for your reply E! :)
I've done that since 9/11. I got religion that day and now if Jim is out I just leave it on a cable news station just in case you know we go to war or something. That's a very long time to binge but I get nervous otherwise. Thank you for your reply Sharon! :)

My binge weakness is Science Fiction. I have binge watched entire Sci-Fi television series: Battlestar Galactica Andromeda Farscape Stargate (SG-1, Atlantis, and Universe) Firefly
Odd. I also am a scifi fan, but have never watched any of those. I am a trekkie, but not a fanatic. We are currently watching 'The Orville". We watched 'Z-Nation' for a few years, also 'Colony', but after a while they became too hard to follow as they would play ten episodes and stop, then return 6 months later.
I love Marathons. Hours and hours and hours of a show from beginning to end or current one. It's the best way to catch up! Thank you for your reply Walt! :)
I'll take your Battlestar and trade you a Beastmaster I'll take your Andromeda and raise you a Hercules and Xena
I'll take your Farscape and trade you Dune (THE TV VERSION WAS PRETTY GOOD COMPARED TO THE STINKY MOVIE) The books were amazing and the best I've read.
I'll trade your stargate etc for GAME OF THRONES
So, I guess I'm just a Fantasy FREAKAZOID. But I do love good sci-fi too.
I watched both Hercules and Zena, when they were on. Trying to find what else Kevin Sorbo was in (for my ex-wife), is how I discovered Andromeda. I have to admit, I still don't understand what happened to the later Andromeda series ... it's like they fired all the writers, and tried to start over.
I cannot tell you WHY I was addicted to Herc and Xena but they fascinated me back then for some reason. And I did the same. When the series ended, I gravitated to Andromeda but it did NOTHING for me. I just don't like outerspace and Star Trek soap opera.
My all-time fave is TWILIGHT ZONE. Then I'd watch LIGHTS OUT. Ever hear of it? Of course STAR TREK I also loved. And though it wasn't REALLY pure sci fi I watched NORTHERN EXPOSURE which had a few episodes that were somewhat mystical include the one where a bear morphs into a handsome man and then goes back to being a bear. You had to be there. It loses something in translation. Thank you for your reply Walt! :)
Nope E I haven't. The originals were incomparable and so I'd rather watch reruns of them than copies. But you say they are EXCELLENT? Okey dokey. If I see they are playing I'll dip my toe in. Thank you for your reply. Is there a ROD SERLING kinda guy involved? When he didn't write the episodes he had top-notch contemporary scifi writers do so. I've never seen a remake I liked as well as I did the original. Maybe it's just bad luck. :)
