An Answermug friend sez reporters would NOT have attended Sarah's party if they did not like her. Could that really be true?

Could YOU like someone who constantly lied to you and insulted you and looked down on you? Why?

    I think they just wanted to make sure she was really going.  They may have liked her on a personal level, but I can't imagine they liked her as a communications director since there were so few press conferences and when she did have one, she lied more often than she told the truth.

    She was arrogant condescending and snarky. If anyone LIKED her for treating them like pond scum I think they wear hair shirts and think they deserved being treatly so shabbily. Thank you for your reply L and Happy Tuesday! :)

    The White House reporters not only attended the party....they threw the party for her. You do not throw a farewell party for someone you do not like. 

    If you do not like them you either ignore their absence or you throw a party without them.

    You KNOW this how m2c? Are you saying that people don't FAKE it? Are you saying that people don't pretend to like someone whom they really cannot stand but do so out of FEAR? I wonder HOW you KNOW this? You speak for them as if you are friends with them and KNOW what they think and HOW THEY FEEL. Perhaps you do in which case you are clairvoyant . You can make a lot of  money with that gift. Thank you for your reply.

    Would you throw any party out of fear? I would not. It is not logical. You may show up and be fake but you do not throw the party...it gains you nothing.

    I can not even find a record of them even having a party for any others at all. As I said they like her....she played their game and won most of the time.
