Home saps are sure saps! What was the point of dumping/rejecting a lousy king then a few hundred years later embracing a way worse WANNABE?

Allegedly a definition of INSANITY is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome.

So what was gained in the interim if we are not only right back where we started from but way worse off? The lesson learned is what? Stupid cannot be weeded out over generations? It lies in wait patiently to rear up and out and take over again? Seriously?
