It is one of my roles in life. I swear. I never just blend. I try. I am NOT trying to stand out. I am a Scorpio. We really do not love attention all that much when we are just going about our daily activities. But, with my lovely nature, I have things fly in my face a lot more than normal.
At work there is always something about me floating around. LOL Most people really love me and I love them back, but even my very best friends, who are running the show, and I butt heads very frequently. I cannot do my JOB with someone who does not DO my job telling me HOW I need to do the job. So? I cannot compromise because I cannot DO what they paid me for unless I ignore them. They love the results I bring, but they want to step on my neck at every step because the RULES say I need to wear shoes and stuff. LOL
I don't accept bullsh**. I don't tolerate being attacked or maligned or put down. I am not a fan of being patronized. When someone points out a misspelled word I opt out and think very dark thoughts. When I ask a question and get a WHATTABOUT I articulate my displeasure. FIRST ANSWER THE DAM* QUESTION THEN WHATTABOUT. One OUGHT TO impart to others what is acceptable and what is not. Either do that or you accept everything all the time from everyone. I like honesty. Not cruelty or hostility or unprovoked attacks. I react. I don't absorb embrace withstand. No point in being a phony. I'm not a yo-yo fan. Up or down ok. But updownupdownupdownupdown. Not so much. Thank you for your reply Sharon! :)
