Even in the most friendly and benign circumstances words mean such different things to people. Example?

"She is Always a Woman to Me" is such an offensive song in my view. A dark trip through what a woman is or can be. Liar deceitful for starters. How is that something any woman would want to have sung to her?

Yet some see it as a beautiful tribute. I don't get it but this I know.

No wonder we can't ever figger things out. We do not comprehend things in the same way. Sometimes it is the OPPOSITE of what we see that others see. Or vicey versey. What hope is there when even friendly folks see negative/positive when looking at the3 exact same thing? What accounts for that? Anyone? It is very disheartening to me.

The song is simply saying yes this woman is human and she has faults but....I love her anyway.

And that is the main problem we have m2c. That is what you perceive from the words.  WHITEWASHING what is there. You whitewash whatever the sb girylman American prez does and says. You don't take it head on as-is. You minimize fracturize sympathize empathize aggrandize all to benefit him. What you see is what you bring to it. Not what is there. That is what I see and how I see it. Of course you disagree. You believe what you see is the truth. I believe it is the exact opposite. You can no more change how you perceive comprehend understand than I can. We will always be at loggerheads. SIGH. Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday to thee.

I just reviewed and reread the lyrics to the song m2c. NOWHERE in that song does it say he LOVES her. This post was edited by RosieG at July 5, 2019 5:51 AM MDT
