To sate his hate for Obama the teleprompter sb prez is willing to sacrifice your health care coverage to accomplish it. Aint' he a swell?
The teleprompter sb prez wants to eviscerate the AHCA to remove all trace of Barack Obama. Of course you support everything he does to make himself feel better. So you die! So what? Right? Anything for the cause.
I would favor going back to pre-ACA. Just as many people were uninsured, but premiums were lower.
I would also favor a flat 10% payroll "health insurance" tax (in place of Medicare tax), which would cover most health treatments. It would be paid 50/50 by the employee and employer. It would not cover elective surgeries or procedures. You could use your HSA for those, if you wished.
I would also bump Social Security up to 10%, and it would pay for a retirement stipend based on average market returns. It would also be paid 50/50 by employee and employer. You could opt to invest your own 5% instead, but your Social Security stipend would be reduced 50%.
I would finally set the federal income tax at a flat 10%, to pay for all other federal services.
No. It would be a waste of my time. I don't have the millions of dollars necessary ... and refuse to "brown nose" either of the major political parties.
btw - I just heard Ross Perot died the other day. I was unaware he got 20% of the vote, when he ran. But I still think he could have won, if he hadn't withdrawn then reentered the race.
