It would be great if everyone were the exact same color. Which color would you choose to be? Majority rules you see. So?

Once everyone is the exact same color what impact would that have on cosmetics and clothing?  What other areas in life would have to be adjusted or massaged or tweaked?

I'm pretty fair complexioned.  I would like to have a bit more color - perhaps a light café au lait.  Happy Thursday. :)

I'm organically naturally a cafe au lait m'dear. Being of Armenian ancestry it's in my DNA. I tan extremely well. I never look pasty  or vapid or colorless! Thank you for your reply L! :)

I did that Ancestry DNA test and it shows 99% Eastern European and 1% Italian.  I think that 1% Italian is where I got my temper. :)

Temper? WHAT TEMPER my friend? Seriously where/when/why does it get triggered? OH. I remember an example. I believe you were engaged in defending me and you got majorly ticked off at the attacker.  Else-wise though what kinds of things would trigger temper in you L? You are always a "rock" to me. Kind articulate STABLE. I think 1% versus 99% is maybe why whenever it shows up (temper) it doesn't last long and comes out rarely. Thank you for your reply m'dear!

LOL ... My temper flares when I see injustice, when I have to walk through Grand Central Station to get to work and five people who are busy looking in their phones walk into me.  Happy Saturday. :)

I remember in the 60's George Harrison of the Beatles was talking about racisim and he said something to the effect of:  One day we all will be united and be a world of coffee-colored people.

    I'm still waiting George.....

How extraordinary! Spunky said she would love to be cafe au lait. I told her I am organically cafe au laid due to my Armenian ancestry. It's in my DNA. So George Harrison said that decades ago? GREAT MINDS etcetera! Thank you for your reply Sharon! :)  So you too would love to be a cafe au lait? OLE!

Except now we know that the lighter color "wins out" over the long term, as far as skin color of mixed races.

As different skin colors "blend" ... the later generations have lighter skin color.

Oh? So the darker genes don't prevail? It's the lighter that will? OK Walt. I believe you. I just have to think about it awhile. Why wouldn't lighter be the recessive gene and darker the one that prevails? Sorry. I'm not trying to be a troublemaker. I'm hust trying to think it through. When I get there I'l letcha know! Thanks! :)

    I have no idea.
But we can see it's true, based on historic evidence.

I think that would be boring.
How about we all have chameleon capabilities, instead?
Be whatever color / pattern you want, whenever you want.

    Can you imagine?
Today I'm "white" ... tomorrow I'm "black" ... the day after, I'm paisley.  lol

Okay, maybe it would mean no tattoo artists or hair dye, since we could change at will.

I like that. It's a good option. Except that all the white nationalist fascists would be white and would still attack insult denigrate demean others of color. My suggestion would be to give them no place to hide. They would have to come up with other things to HATE than skin color. But still Walt it is very creative and I appreciate that! Thank you for your reply!  :)

If you think it through ... being against someone because of their skin color is really being against them because of how soon/late their ancestors moved out of Africa.  (since we can all trace our ancestry back there)

It's like those people who claim to be "better" because their ancestors came over with the founding of the Plymouth colony.

My long-ago MIL was a member of the DAR! She never forgave her son for marrying "beneath his class". I kid you not. She was an EMERSON. Ralph Waldo was a relative. My credentials were not nearly as imposing Walt. My parents were naturalized citizens from "the old country" and I was FIRST GENERATION AMERICAN. She actually had the nerve to tell him she thought I was pregnant and that's why he "had to" marry me! Five months into our marriage I got pregnant.  I'm not sure why he told me that but I never forgot it. So I know all about these high-class smarta** pedigree peeps. Not impressed! Thank you for your reply! :)
