Will we ever be able to CONTROL our climate? Used to be Rainmakers, right? Didn't pilots seed clouds somehow to make rain?

If you are playing golf or tennis in 100-degree weather it is not as pleasant as if it were 70. If you could temporarily order up the weather you wanted when you wanted wouldn't that make life much better? Think that is way up high  pie-in-the-sky IMPOSSIBLE?
