I already had Medicare and supplemental insurance when the AHCA was created. Was your insurance coverge made better by it?

If the bad guys had their way and got rid of the AHCA I don't know how or if I'd be affected.

 So while I am very happy with Medicare (having it saved my life in 2008) I don't know if it would be better
for everyone to be off their current insurance and replace it with a Medicare-like insurance coverage for all. I don't know how to evaluate it. Do you? Does it sound like a very good thing or not?
