Before that occurs Sharon there will be massacres and slaughters performed for chump's entertainment by his cabal of white nationalist racist supporters in every state. It will keep getting worse until. I don't know how long until is but unless his adoring worshippers abandon him and turn on him it will keep happening. I hope until gets here quickly. Until then? The "Divided States of America" won't have to worry about its name. It's going to fall and fall hard (probably within the next 40 years).
A house divided against itself cannot stand. We are divided politically, racially, economically and socially.
- Each political party thinks they are supreme - not as americans. We see it in the current administration as well as in the debates a few days ago. It's not "America" its "me and my party". - Each "color" thinks they are the best (white, black, brown, red, green, purple, or whatever). Each voluntarily segregates themselves from the other. We divide ourselves up into nationalities. We are no longer a "melting pot", but rather a "partitioned plate" where each "section" is walled off from the rest (who are not "like" themselves). - The rich get richer on the backs of everyone else. The rich run the government (president, congress, etc.). They work hard to enrich themselves (financially), but when it comes to helping the "poor" they bicker and hem haw. Corporations profit exponentially, but refuse to share that bounty with those who earned it for them - the workers. - Each person demands "their" rights - above anyone elses. Black, white; rich, poor; gay, straight; male, female; atheist, theist ... the list goes on. "I'm right and you're wrong - end of discussion!" There is no leniency, only hatred.
Our current president reflects the attitude of a majority in this country (that's how he got to where he is now). Yet despite his reprehensible actions and behavior, many still proudly fight for him... and will proudly do so to the bitter end. Yet the situation we're in now is not his fault alone. He's simply the current focal point. This nation was practically born divided! (look back through our history). Those leaders we keep electing? (president, senator, representative, governor, etc.) They come from us! They are like us! They're not shipped in from Mars or Venus, they're from right here - hometown DSA (Divided States of America)!
Thank you for your truthful thoughtful and sadly accurate analysis. One caveat. It is due to the chump ALONE that has brought the slime and sludge of racism out of the mud, into the light and made it popular. That is to say where the vermin used to hide for fear of being attacked it is now marching and chanting and carrying signs proudly loudly branded by the chump as "good people". The chump did that. I blame HIM for now being in fashion. Happy Monday! :)
