Glad ya asked. The MAJORITY of the American people including many gun owners/NRA members have wanted SENSIBLE background checks for many years. Why don't we have it? Because the NRA BRIBES the greedy money hoor pols with "contributions" to make them refuse to enact any such legislation. Greedy Money hoors will always prostitute themselves for the money. That is why they do what they do. The bigger the prostitution clientele the more the money the money hoor makes. So that's the why. They don't give a sh** what the people want. What they want is more important. Why do you think they are pols? To serve their country? Seriously? To serve themselves. Greedy money hoors are all alike everywhere.
