Are your likes/dislikes consistent, logical and true to your own core beliefs? Does the source matter at all or only the issue?

What happens when those you like/admire likes something you don't? Do you ever switch to coincide with them and not stick out like a sore thumb or RINO or DINO or heathen? Do you want to fit in more than anything including staying true for you?
