I research first; then I may not have to ask.

It depends on what it is. If I have an avid abiding interest in something that isn't based on other people's opinions but requires FACTS I research it. However when there are DIFFERENT interpretations of those facts that lead to different conclusions once again I go to homo saps to learn what they think about. Rarely do experts agree on anything. I guess that's why they are experts. But if its a question that occurs to me that is not based necessarily on scientific or factual information but on personal opinion I ask. When you want to know what someone thinks research doesn't help. Asking does. Thank you for your reply E and Happy Saturday to thee! :)

I generally ask doctors all kinds of things going on with me. I saw a podiatrist last month and he said I had gout. I disagreed with him as I showed no symptoms. My family doctor agreed with me. My swelling is still a mystery, but I believe it is a long term after effect from a spider bite. I couldn't find any experts to ask.

If you have gout your URIC ACID count will be very high. It is usually the big toe that's involved and believe it or not eating cherries and drinking cherry juice will mitigate the pain and "cure" it. Also cherry jam Anything with cherries.. How do I know? Because Jim had gout and I researched it and that's exactly what we did. He hasn't had an attack since and that was years ago. So what is your URIC ACID count E? What kinds of foods to you eat? Gout is real. Jim's pal Alan is currently suffering from it. Anyway whatever it is you have I hope it can be "cured" or "fixed". When you say you showed no symptoms do you mean there was no pain in your toe? Did you ask what your URIC ACID reading was? Thank you for your reply! :)
