I always thought Republicans took pride in their support of the US military. Can any of you Trump supporters explain to me why you support Trump attacking the military AND praising Vladmir Putin?

He insulted our military in front of a military audience which in itself is not very bright.

BUT he also praised Vladmir Putin in front of that same audience as he attacked the President of the United States. So why is it that his Republican supporters tolerate the man when he insults/attacks what they used to defend/support/take pride in?  The United States of America has the best military in the world. Isn't that a given? Trump saying it ain't so doesn't change a thing. He makes look very unpatriotic.
