Usually probationary periods are for 90 days...3 months. If you survive that then you are considered to be a permanent employee and all the benefits kick in like insurance and vacations and holiday pay. Whaddya say?

The requirements would be MANDATORY NO EXCEPTION. First be loyal to your country and the citizens. No siding with hostile foreign enemies and calling your own people liars.
Second all people must be TREATED EQUALLY. No exceptions. He serves the needs of all colors.
Third. NO RALLIES. Any rally would be automatic cause for DISMISSAL. Rallies DIVIDE. A good president UNITES.
Fourth. Any subsequent malfeasance in office like lying to the people or rescinding all environmental protections or treating asylum seekers like vermin is forbidden. Automatic dismissal.
Fifth. Press conferences will be held EVERY DAY. No exceptions. The "press secretary" will answer all questions HONESTLY and not lie to cover a president's a**.
Sixth. The president SHALL NOT attack insult demean anyone at any time for any reason. If he does that is automatic grounds for dismissal too.
Seventh. The president shall NEVER engage in name-calling or belittling those he doesn't like. Automatic dismissal.
Eighth. The president shall not be allowed to brag boast preen or self-aggrandize. His actions will show us what he does. His self-praising self-a**kissing are unwanted unacceptable unreliable unworthy unclean untrue.
The president will at all times walk the walk he talks. Or shut the f up. His choice.
The president will be subjected to quarterly reviews at which time a review of his accomplishments to date will take place as well as a review of his screw-ups too. They will be evaluated and on balance if he screws up more than he doesn't he leaves immediately.
