There was one advantage to being/living "back in the day". People just lied. Today they "prove" lies with phony videos/audios. Progress?

I don't know how long phony money has existed.  Counterfeit. Even experts can get fooled. That was bad enough.
Now we have the exquisite luxury of phony videos and audios that even experts can't tell are manufactured for partisan political or other reasons. It's already here and we will be drowning in them if we aren't already.
