Did europeans (small e intended) export the concept of race worldwide? Where did it come from that one color is superior to another color?

Is anyone a PURE anything? Unless you can trace your genealogy all the way back to its inception how do you know who "dallied" with whom and when and for how long? Genealogy track cannot go back before recorded history. So it's all just a mystery.
