That airport services the Donald golf resort in Scotland and so if it were to out of business from lack of sales well then what would happen to the failing resort?
EUREKA! Fill US miitary planes with fuel EXCLUSIVELY from that tiny little itsy bitsy airport. Keep it afloat to keep the resort afloat and direct all US traffice via it in perpetuity forever or eternity whichever comes first.
