Would you play this game?

Presenting Ms. Monopoly. Where all the properties on the board are investments in inventions created by women.  Women players will be empowered over their male counterparts by collecting $240 instead of $200 when they pass Go. The game for the first time will feature a new mascot on it's cover.

    Probably not. But I would want the tokens. We like having unique tokens. But only play MegaMonoply.

  • The article I'm reading says that the more manly tokens like the racecar and battleship are being swapped out for a notebook/pen and watch, lol.  I think it's funny that Hasbro is seriously trying to market it as a symbol of female empowerment. More a mockery of it than anything else.

  • I haven't seen the Socialism version but I did see Monopoly for millenials and found that one actually funny. It pretty much just jokes how the players won't ever be able to afford property.  The player with the most debt gets to go first, haha.

    We have several sets. The only one I have told people we do not want is Monopoly Cheaters. It encourages you to break the rules. Take peoples properties not pay etc. Nope. We will stick with Mega.

  • The Cheaters version is a paradox...there are rules that tell you not to follow the rules.  The Mega edition is nice...I have a few of the novelty editions...Nintendo, Star Wars, Kiss.  Stashed away in a closet somewhere.  I also use to have the LOTR edition but that one went missing.

    We have Disney, Star Wars, Nintendo, Empire (not the show), Oceanopoly. We have started just buying token off ebay to use.

  • I believe there is a Pokemon version too...I might have to see if I can track it down for my kids in time for the holidays. Haha oh how I wish there was a version for Empire the show though.  Community chest cards reading like "Some basic hoe is trying to steal your man...pay $250 to have her put in her place."

    Yes there is a least 2 Pokemon versions. And several other kinds. I just bought Avengers for my son. He will get it for his birthday.
