So the corollary to that would be that those who don't make lots of mistakes are perceived as being PHONY?

Seriously? Do you believe that? The dumber you are the more genuine you are? So dumb is what people seek in others?

If true well then what the he**? Why attend school if dumber means genuiner? Why get all that book larnin' when it only works against you? Dumb is in. Dumb rocks. Dumb be da man da woman. Here we come. Dumb.

    People who will admit they made a mistake are more genuine than those who wont.   

    People who are so conceited that they cant admit they made a mistake come off as being phony.  Thusly, the dumbest person in the world is more genuine if they admit they made a mistake that the smartest person in the world who won't.

    It was said IN DEFENSE OF JOE BIDEN m'dear. Meaning the reason he is still "popular" as a Dem prez candidate is BECAUSE of his history of gaffes. That didn't sit well with me. At all. I think it is a very dangerous thing to do...bet on someone like that. He has no problem admitting them but he sloughs them off as being inconsequential. He laughs as if it were just a quirk, idiosyncrasy. I disagree. I do not want a gaffe-prone person in charge of the country. Period. End of story. Do you? Thank you for your reply.

    No.  In my opinion, Biden is too old and has too much "baggage".  He won't be able to handle the job of prez.

    Ditto! Me too Shuhak. Thank you for your reply. I kinda feel sorry for the guy. Mebbe better if he hadn't gotten in. He couldn't have been subjected to such close scrutiny and some derision. He took a shot and if he ends up the Dem candidate I will be surprised. :)
