Why do people read into statements things that are not there? Is it due to the baggage we all carry? Buttons that get pushed?

Maybe it's the ACHILLES HEEL? I dunno but it seems strange to me that some people do that regularly.
Others apparently never do.

The written word can be interpreted in many ways based on intellect experience partisanship prejudice. The same words communicate different things to different people all the time. It can be exhausting trying to communicate at times. Wonder why it is so hard to get through to some and so easy to get through to others?
