I didn't become "Rosie" till I was about 30. I didn't choose it but I liked it a lot. A friend I'd met when we moved from California to Massachusetts just started to call me Rosie. As a kid I wasn't real fond of my name. Too long. Three syllables. Rosemarie! AARRGGHH! I longed to be an "Ann". Now I like my name and I like the nickname. Do you prefer to be addressed by your entire name or does your nickname suit you better?
