When a SHARK (Kevin) gets particularly exasperated with someone he says "YOU ARE DEAD TO ME". Dramatic. Would YOU ever say that to someone?
It's easy peasy to "kill people off" figuratively. Just ignore them. They cease to exist for you. Simple. But to actualy SAY THOSE WORDS to someone? Could you?
