To be or not to be? A choice. A question. To be and be not? Is/is not? Simultaneously? HOW? OH when you don't know then is/is not is?

Like Schroedinger's cat. Alive or dead or both or neither. Becoming always becoming never being always unknown always a possibility either or both or neither.

I'm not sure what you're asking, really.

But Speaking of being two "states" at the same time ...

Uncertainty principle, also called Heisenberg uncertainty principle or indeterminacy principle, statement, articulated (1927) by the German physicist Werner Heisenberg, that the position and the velocity of an object cannot both be measured exactly, at the same time, even in theory.

I don't know about particles ... but it seems to be true for humans.
If we know we are being observed, we generally act differently than if we think we are not being observed.
Even if we are a good person - we will be on our "best" behavior, when we believe we are being observed.

    We inherently know this.
Parents use it to get kids to behave ("Santa is watching you").
Religions use it to get people to behave a certain way ("God is watching you").

I think you may have figgered out that I am a "stream of consciousness" person Walt. Many thoughts ideas opinions fight for attention in my brain at all times. Not necessarily in any logical sequence. I ask and many times folks have no idea what I'm talking about. That doesn't matter. I ask because if I don't those thoughts ideas opinions relentlessly badger me. Now here's the nifty thing. Occasionally folks like you will reply. Something about the question captures their attention. In this case you zeroed in on it. At any given moment can we be and not be simultaneously? I don't know. I think some folks can't make up their minds so they just go with the flow and don't make waves. Whatever state of being that is? Not my cuppa tea. I talk about multi-dimensional and parallel universes a lot because I'm a quantum physics fan and a scifi fan.  Some avoid that kinda thing. They are facts folks and anything else makes them very uneasy. That's kinda why I look forward to your taking a crack at almost everything I ask no matter how far "out there" it is. You're brave! I just thought of another question. There are some folks who will never let you know whom they are. Others are open books all the time. Why? Thank you for your reply! :) This post was edited by RosieG at September 25, 2019 2:50 AM MDT

    What is this?

Is this TRUMP-sense?  Because that is the only way it could make sense.  In Trump's mind.

If you find anything of interest in the question Sharon please answer it. If not no worries. Perhaps if you read my reply to Walt it will help. Thank you and Happy Wednesday! :)
