Use a medical reason. Y'all had strokes or heart attacks and cannot possibly show up to testify UNDER OATH.
Just like the never-ending IRS audit gambit/ruse/LIE of the steadfast jacka** none of these folks will ever recover sufficiently to show up to Congress for their testimony.
