You took a class in college titled "COMPARATIVE RELIGION" and studied the various holy books upon which those religions were based.
But now you are being investigated because a powerful religious zealot wants to punish you for your having done so and makes those classes ILLEGAL to teach and ILLEGAL to take retroactively. Everyone who ever took Comparative Religion is being investigated by the state.
Sounds very demented and outrageous? Sounds like something that would happen in a scifi fantasy by a maniac whose power was unlimited?
So at any time anything you ever did could become outlawed and you could be a target for incarceration.
