I think that would depend on how advanced their Artificial Intelligence (AI) is. I mean, factory robots probably aren't going to have individuality since they aren't programmed to learn and respond to changes in environment.
The irony is ... when an AI gets "too advanced", they start creating their own language. At that point, we shut them down because no human understands the language - and we are afraid of them escaping the lab.
I don't know the "components" of personality ... as it seems to be up to whatever test you are using. Just in the past three years, my employer had us do 2 different types of personality tests - and they each used different components to determine what our personality was. And while the "main" personality was the same, there were differences in "minor" personality results.
So, of course, I have little confidence in any test that alleges it will tell you what your personality "type" is.
You got the results of both tests Walt? What kind of personality do those tests say you have? How close are they to what you think you are personality-wise? Way back long ago on Answerbag a gal named FIREBRAND told me I had "a very big personality". She was very smart and kind and a pal so I took it as a compliment but I truly have no idea what she meant by it. I didn't question her. I've taken aptitude tests and of course subject matter tests in school but never a personality test. I was painfully shy as a child but I'm pretty sure I'm over the shyness. They both confirm my "main" personality is introvert ... which I knew waaaay back in middle school.
One put me as "middle" for logic/math ... when I'm obviously more towards the "strong" side. The other said I was "weak" for logic/math, and "strong" "relations" (sympathy/empathy) ... which is basically the opposite of what I am.
The residue of being painfully shy makes me an introvert still to this day. I am a loner basically. I despise large crowds. I usually go my own way unless someone is going that way too. I don't follow crowds. I usually go out of my way to avoid them. However the internet gives me freedom that real-life doesn't. I'm here any hour of the day or night that pleases me. i don't have to wait for an invitation. I show up and do my thing and move on without having to ask permission or explain myself. If folks happen to cross my path and want to interact that's swell. If not that's also swell. I can't lose. In real-life things are not as simple. I am in complete of everything here except who responds. But I can choose to avoid engaging with them. In real life? Hah! Good luck with that! I dunno if you're the same kind of introvert I am Walt.
