You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. Literally or figuratively. QUID :PRO QUO is the way to go. Do YOU quid pro quo a lot?

Apparently it's the way of the world. WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME? WHAT DO I GET OUT OF IT?

You do this for me and I will do that for you.

Good Samaritans are extinct. You know those kindhearted souls who do for others just to be of help. Expecting nothing in return. Well obviously they are old hat out of style and not worth associating with. Sappy souls. Who needs them? You aren't one of them are you? Sheesh if you are don't admit it. You will be tracked and attacked and excoriated and vilified and dirtied bigly. People can't stand such folks. They try to exterminate them like insects. Makes them look bad by comparison. SIGH.

Quid Quo Quo between world leaders is called diplomacy.

Between most people it is called compromise and cooperation.

Looking into a possible corrupt action is legal.

    Great job of ignoring context.

The issue is inviting interference in the 2020 election by a foreign power. This post was edited by tom jackson at October 4, 2019 11:23 AM MDT

I have a "quid pro quo" agreement with my employer.  LOL

I have found the problem with freely giving of myself ... is that some people will treat it as if you "owe" them something, or have a responsibility to continue to give.  So now I am very wary of giving or volunteering.
