Are YOU a pithy riposter? Do you get paid by the word or do it for free just for the halibut?

On Answerbag years ago there was a riposter who showed up 24/7 and musta been paid by the word. He probally submitted his pithy ripostes to his boss and got paid handsomely for it.     I don't remember his name honey. But he always showed up with an inane insane refrain and I was not the first one who accused him of being a paid hack. I wish I could remember. Maybe it will come to me one day!
