The LOW ROAD goes through swamps filled with muck and slime and infectious things. It's faster and makes you richer than GOD.
The HIGH ROAD goes through safe paths that are free of harmful things. It takes longer and there is no pot of gold at the end.
I just wonder why some/many/most pols seem to be drawn to filth and scum and slime and dirt and relentless stench. They never can wash it off. It is absorbed into their bodies and infiltrates every inch of them. It announces their arrivals and doesn't go away at their departures. It is kinda skunklike but worse. It pollutes the air around them. How can that be awesomely pleasant for them? Dead smellers?
