Do you have a clue what whomever it was who said meant? A political party creates a strictly partisan cable TV station to PREVENT impeachment? OH. OK. I GET IT. To brainwash everyone who watches and listens  into robotically supporting their president no matter how big a crook or corrupt or evil he is or how much damage he does! That's it right? Because it was REPUBLICANS who advised Nixon that he had to step down or he would face impeachment! Today that would never happen. The brainwashing is complete and so there is no hope ever of any Republican Senator having the courage to do the right thing. If it happened the NRA and weaponized trumpicans would take them out ASAP.

    Let's put it simply.  IF Bill Clinton had FOX on his side?  He NEVER would have been impeached.  TRUST ME.  And we never would have had TRUMP, but?  That kind of dictatorial kind of broadcasting is something NO DEM would EVER allow, and Ironically, Clinton's distaste for graft and corruption on a national scale which is what FOX NEWS IS, is something he would never get behind.

    So, he was dead in the water because he could never sink this low.  But TRUMP is in bed with shills and crooks and scabs and snakes and FOX NEWS IS FILLED WITH THEM.  The evil that they do lives with them and they are too ineffective intellectually to realize that they are digging their own graves politically and legally in many instances.

    They are all one hit wonders that will disappear as soon as TRUMP has also disappeared.  So, they have all their cards stacked against them.

    They were very slow on that. Watergate ended in 1974...FOX news began airing in 1996. That is 22 yrs in between. So no not a result of Watergate.
