Obligations. We all have them to one degree or another. Do you try to fulfill yours or shrug them off?

We have a certain obligation to our parents and siblings. To what degree varies from family to family. We have certain obligations to our employer and  our country. Again exactly what they are varies though I do believe there are commonalities among them.

I think America has an obligation to the Kurds in northern Syria who fought with us to defeat ISIS. I think around 11,000 or more of them died doing so. Then the obligatee leaves them in the dust saying they're goof fighters and no angels. He also says Russia has a lot of sand to play with. Why or how that is relevant escapes me. He also said he is the one who "captured ISIS in one month" which would have taken General Mattis two years to do. Does any of that make any sense to you whatsoever? If so can you communicate in the simplest terms how and why?
