If he had not hired corrupt people to work with him to shred the Constitution but hired capable honest honorable people to uphold it might we have forgiven his conceits because his heart was in the right place? Being super conceited doesn't necessarily mean you are dishonest or cruel or evil or heartless. Of course that is a "what if" that is truly hard to imagine. Even so, WHAT IF?
