Sergey Karjakin became a GRANDMASTER Chess Champion at the age of 12 years 7 months. Youngest on record SO FAR. He learned chess at the age of 5 and became an International Master at Age 11.
I think we should focus on US GRANDMASTER CHESS CHAMPIONS and see if any of them might interested in being vetted to be president.
Now is that enough? Of course not. That would be the purpose of the vetting. But at least it limits the group to something they all have in common that we desperately need in a president. The ability to foresee consequences of your actions. The ability to know which moves to make based on which moves your opponents make and have the intellectual capacity to play moves ahead of the actuality.
For your good chess players out there what is wrong with that requirement?
Maybe it needn't be a GRANDMASTER. Maybe all it would take would a VERY GOOD CHESS player. Right now we have someone who plays each move in reaction to the opponent and does not play ahead for future moves. Which means the USof A is always playing from behind..playing catchup.
Whatcha think?
