On rare occasion the wife of a pol may run for the same seat if the pol dies in office. Has the husband of a lady pol who died ever done so?

Whether female or male would YOU ever do that? Take over after your spouse died to carry on whatever goals he/she had? I think that is an amazing tribute personally. I don't have the right stuff to do it but maybe had I been the spouse of a pol I'd have learned how to. Moot.
