Fires are raging in California. Power is off for a bajillion folks. How is that helped anything? What's the purpose?

Is this gonna be the way they fight? Turn off electricity? Whenever and for however long?

How many folks will MOVE AWAY? Who can live that way?

    Every time we turn around there is ANOTHER California fire.  I cannot believe there is anything left to burn.

    I know Sharon. Our pal Shuhak lives in northern California and he was without power from Saturday 7:45pm to Wednesday at 3:15pm. That was not the first time. We live on flat land without any appreciable vegetation so we are lucky. But we are warned that this will become a way of life. How do you live with that uncertainty? Thank you for your reply. SIGH.
