Because he is the second coming of Jesus Christ sent to them by GOD HIMSELF and as such is being crucified just as Jesus was so long ago.
That's the spin they're all in. They BELIEVE in HIM with all their hearts and all their souls and all their minds that he was sent to them because of his perfection and goodness and grace and that GOD will protect him and them from those who see him as the spawn of the devil.
The battle lines are drawn. It was predicted long ago. The Battle between GOD/GOOD and DEVIL/EVIL. They see EVIL as the antidons and GOD as the pro motormouth. As GOD is his witness right? GOD sent motormouth to them as his second begotten son. So motormouth is now suffering "on the cross" of vilification excoriation demonization degradation humiliation denigration.
Will the motormouth end up as Jesus did? Crucified? Will motormouth die and be resurrected just like Jesus? If GOD sent him to the prodons to save the world will it only be possible through the death of motormouth (figuratively of course)? His demise? Repeat performance? I dunno. How far are they gonna go with this GOD sending motormouth to them? If they take it all the way they KNOW HOW IT ENDS.
Then why does he continue to act like a petulant, guilty child?
