Here's how I roll. I'd far rather have someone get the credit for what I did than to take the credit for what someone else did. You too?

In the first scenario I am not the one who is the liar. "The other" person is that. No skin off my nose. I don't care.

But if I am given credit for something I did not do I will not stay silent and accept what I did not earn.

Now is that the way YOU roll too? If not why not?

    If I did something that will advance me in my job and someone takes the credit for it, I will speak up.  That's a fact.

    If I did something that I got credit for that someone else did. I will speak up.  That's a fact as well.  I don't do that to other people.l

    I'll wait for option 3---actually and only getting credit for what I did.
