I guess certain fish are more popular in certain areas than others due to their geographic location. More available mebbe?

So in your town/city what is the most popular fish? What fish do you cook most often at home?

Here it would be Lake Erie walleye and yellow perch. They are only good when fried and I rarely eat fried foods. We eat mostly Alaskan pollock.

The only fish I eat is canned tuna - and I really don't like it.  However, around here trout is most common as they're what's in the rivers and lakes.

Do you put anything in it Shuhak? I like mine with chopped celery chopped onion and lemon juice. Jim likes his with some mayo. I LOVE tuna but we get the pouch type at Walmart and it is wild-caught light tuna. We also like other fish too. Lake fish is healthier than farm-raised fish as you undoubtedly know. Thank you for your reply! :)

Tuna is a dry "meat".  No matter what I put in it, it cannot change that fact.
