How does other people's opinions/preference affect your life? Do you take them seriously and personally? Would you do battle over them? Why?

No affect on me whatsoever. We all have differing opinions on most things. I respect the opinions of others and like when they respect mine. I try real hard not to get into arguments of these things, but sometimes someone will push the topic enough to where I will react. I walked away from many an argument on Answerbag, it's just not worth the energy. :)

Yes. Walking away works best. I don't even show up. I simply ignore some of the Answermuggers here and never read what they post  because my experience has shown me they are a waste of my time.  I did the exact same thing on Answerbag.
