    Good bosses of the 'old days'? Have you watched the docudrama 'The Men Who Built America'? If you do, you may change your mind. Some of them were demons.

    You are talking about the RICH AND FAMOUS E. Once again we are not on the same page here. I am talking about the ordinary everyday typical bosses in jobs held by ordinary typical people like me. Not the rich and famous and evil and venal and greedy and "successful" criminal corrupt bas**rds.. Now you may have had a mover and shaker boss like that. I have not. I only had one boss who tried to throw me under the bus and he got fired for it! His boss didn't like it at all because he knew better. It would be very nice if you knew me well enough to know where I'm coming from. After all this time I thought you did. You don't. My mistake. Thanks.

    I didn't have many bosses and all but one were excellent. That was when I was in the Navy. He was a good boss and actually a friend until I found out when he took afternoons off to "play golf", he was actually going to my house to play with my first wife. When I started teaching, I had no boss. I guess I could say my only real boss was my first wife. She is evil, abusive and a terrible mother.
