"Where are those Republicans who are willing to go beyond their party to do their duty"? Can you name ONE?

  • Republicans are as cowardly and subservient as Democrats are brazenly hostile to sanity and reason. If the GOP has given any thought to "doing their duty", they'll stand solidly behind this president in the days to come. Personally, I'd love to see the House impeachment handlers muzzled and stifled when the traveling circus reaches the Senate. What goes around truly comes around.

We do mindlessly label people and generalize without much thought on this site, don't we Rosie? Can I name one? No. I can name approximately 80, members of the Republican Main Street Partnership. I am willing to bet that you and the MSNBC crowd can't be bothered to learn about it and have probably never heard of it.

The RMSP is a coalition of nearly 80 members of Congress who represent the governing wing of the Republican Party. Its members are Republicans in 'swing' districts. It includes people like Dan Donovan of New York, who was a leading opponent of Trump's effort to undo Obamacare and has opposed him on other issues, Chris Smith of New Jersey, whose Autism Cares Act supports supports nearly 50,000 people with autism each year who ‘age out’ of critical assistance programs, Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington, who is working to combat the US maternal mortality rate, which is the highest in the developed world, and President/CEO Sarah Chamberlain, who is the founder of the Women2Women Conversations Tour and writes and speaks about the mental health issues around gun violence and mass shootings.

Any other questions to which you think you already have a simple, neat, black-and white answer?
