True or Faux? The dad of a child slaughtered in a massacre two years ago is SUING dementia don/moscow mitch for doing nothing. GOOD?

I have no idea if it is true, faux or on the back burner

Even if such a case was filed ... I'm not sure how it would succeed.
It would have to be proven that (first) those individuals had a direct responsibility for the safety of the deceased.
Since courts have consistently ruled that police officers don't have that ... I don't see how they would rule that politicians DO.

I'm not either Walt but do you have kids? If you do how would YOU feel if your child had been slaughtered and  all the prez did was wordify a response to placate at the time and then the NRA reminded hm of which side his butt is buttered on and he backed down backtracked ignored? Not too good. I cannot imagine what I would do. I mean what can you do with a broken heart to drive you? Thank you for your reply! :) This post was edited by RosieG at November 26, 2019 12:48 PM MST

I find it ... unfortunate ... that people believe the government is here to protect them.
Even though courts have said time and time again, that is not the case.
Even going so far as to state that the government can void your Constitutional Rights, when you "voluntarily" enter a school.

Then, when the government inevitably fails to protect people, they look to blame it.

I bet none of those children, or their parents, are told the truth any other time.
"What do you mean?  You tell us our children have to attend schooling, but you don't have to protect them?!?"
